Hello, I have a teacher who suggestes that in order to play the C major scale correctly I should move my hand outwards between playing the first and then the second finger, because the second finger is longer than the first/ Do you suggest me to do that? Tahnks a lot

It is one possible solution which your teacher may see as working well for you. However it is not the only one. Each finger must learn to MOVE so well, with such vigour and agility, that their unequal length simply ceases to be of consequence. It just doesn't matter any more that they are unequal, because each of them can move as much or as little as it pleases.
