Vengerova Method

What are your thoughts on the Vengerova method? pp16

I don't know much about her.I googled her and here is what i found on wiki: Sounds like arm weight to me.If you find more, post the link please.

Although Gary Graffman studied with her, he actually describes precious little about her approach in his biography, "I Really Should be Practicing." Unfortunately that's my only contact with her teaching, so until I do some research there's not much I can tell you - sorry! AFF

There is a book: The Vengerova System of Piano Playing (Hardcover) by Robert D. Schick that describes her approach to technique. I think it is out of print so if you cannot find it, I can type or post the ideas in the book. pp16
