If you have any chance to access it, this document might be interesting: It's about amazing mechanisms of the human hand - how it is developed in evolution, how it functions compared to ape hand for example, what muscles are used in fine motor skills versus gross motor skills etc, what are the basic grips of the hand, thumb as an amazingly flexible and important unit etc. What is not seen in TV ever before, is the complete dissection of the hand made by expert hand surgeon.
