Hi, good to see you here!

F Major Scale On High Range

I found it very difficult that I have to twist my wrist in a strange way, especially when I come down from the highest octave, where I crossed from thumb C to ring-finger Bb. Is there a trick to do it more smoothly?

Don't join the notes. You are twisting your wrist because you want to actually join the notes. But they should be played with the hand craftily shifting its position at precisely the right moment. There is also a way of using the wrist more effectively to really join the notes - see my chapter 3 in the DVD The Craft of Piano Playing. AFF
