First of all, forgive me for posting in this section. I wanted to get as much exposure as possible and I guess I can get away with it being the admin and the one who started this forum :p I have been studying piano with for several years too. Over that time, I've gained a TON of knowledge about piano technique, performance, practice techniques.. Most notable, it was the interaction with both of them that made the difference between developing good and bad habits. I got to watch them teach, speak and interact with the students. Then I got an idea! Its a web app or a service if you wish, where you can watch pre-recorded piano lessons taught by Alan or Kemal. More teachers will be added as we go along and the selection process will be very rigorous. Each teacher will be able to upload the lessons he/she wants. Teachers will of course be paid for uploading those lessons. We will have two subscription plans for our prospective users. Monthly - $9, and Yearly, $90. 70% of the money collected will be used to pay the teachers. I have developed a system that: 1. Tracks the number of video views 2. Tracks the cumulative number of views over given period (a month) 3. Restricts creating fake views/throttling (refreshing the page) 4. Restricts the teacher or his representative of creating artificial views 5. Gives daily, weekly and monthly performance reports. 6. Determines cost per view based on the total number of subscribers. The site has several sections: 1. All lessons in one place 2. Teachers section and lessons that belong to them only 3. Most popular lessons 4. Specific technique problems covered, or maybe a specific piece..maybe just the one you are working on at the moment. 5. Estimated 3-5 lessons will be uploaded each week. This number might vary. Every lesson gets tagged and those are searchable too. Head over to and leave your email. We will let you know when the site goes up. We are planing to launch it on the February 15th. This site will aim to help everybody seeking a really good piano teacher and give an insight into the work of some of the greatest and smartest piano pedagogues today. The lessons and information will be at your disposal any time, securely hosted on the fast servers of I can post some development screenshots if you are interested! Thanks for reading! Cheers! Cool, it's nice to see this coming to fruition! I remember Alan mentioning it a couple of years a go in Bonn and it seemed like an exciting idea then. Even more so now that it's happening!

Hi again, I got something very cool to share with you today. Alan generously gave me his teaching lessons from this month in London. I started the new serie on PianoTechnique.org titled Alan Fraser's lessons in April 2014. These lessons are great! A ton of info presented very precisely and concisely. This serie will feature on several pieces. Chopin's Nocturne Op. 48 No. 1 and Prokofiev's Visions Fugitives are some of them. The first lesson is . Share if want and follow the site on Twitter for future uploads. Link: Cheers, Jovan
