Tchaikowsky Competition - Alexander Romanovsky (Ukraine)

Hi, It is interesting to watch this pianist lean his thumbs against the lower board in certain passages. I am not sure I am stating it right but you can see for yourselves. Great brilliant pianist! and choose "Watch online". If you have not done so you must register and download a program from Microsoft "Silverlight" (I believe?) to watch the competition. All his performances are archived but not by name. I have watched also the rehearsals with orchestra and just a few hours ago his performance of the Tchaikowsky B-flat minor. In the last round he is playing Rachmnaninoff's Third. Good luck watching! Miguel
