Sofya Gulyak - Leeds International Winner 2009

Hi I have only recently heard Sofya on YouTube.... But How is she doing this technically..seems she does everything wrong - shoulders high, back posture curved outwards!! Congrats to her for being the first woman to have won this contraversial (IMO) competition. Any thoughts?

I guess mostly I find her too attached to the beat - because of this she misses chances to really get an orchestral roar out of the piano - her are a little funny! But this kind of conservative playing is what the juries like. She has some talent but I guess I wish I felt some sort of conception more instead of just 'musical' playing... AFF
