I keep going back to this clip of Nelson Freire at age 15 playing Moskowski, just to watch the quality of movement and the functioning of the arch. What I wouldn't give to play with such ease. His fingers just drop into place! --Rush

This is a wonderful performance. The sound is really variegated, clear, articulated, alive, witty. His metacarpal arch is completely THERE for him. His hands are great although there is something about the 'look' of his hands which is slightly 'school-like,' I can't really put my finger on it... Although it is fantastic, there is something I am only 99% happy with, not 100%. It's like, when I look at his hands, although they are wonderful I am not completely confident that he could play with a REALLY big, fully orchestrated sound. It's something about the way he holds his arms. I am completely nitpicking here, I cannot even really define what it is I am trying to say... it's just a gut feeling... In any case, I should have such trivial problems myself! AFF
