New Edition To The DVD?

Hi Alan, I've read some of the posts and there are certain places where you stated that things you said on your DVD are wrong; one post I can recall is under Student Evaluation you were helping a guy by the name of Bangity and when discussing octaves you said that now you learned more about the thumb and the way you presented the topic in the DVD is wrong. Are you planning on issuing a second edition to the DVD to correct these issues? Or could we create a session here for things you reviewed and now you think differently of? I think it will benefit all of us and probably make life a lot easier than try and read every single post to see if any changes are needed. I'm grateful that you are constantly reviewing your own method to perfect and raise it. Thank you!

Hmm, a new edition would be a huge project! A second DVD will come out in 2010, and there will be corrections included there as a part of the ongoing body of exercises - "the next generation." Apart from the hand which slopes a little too much towards the fifth finger, there's not much that I see needs changing in the DVD. Two minor details: 1) it turns out that some monkeys CAN oppose their thumb to their hand and 2) the interosseous are to either side of each finger, alongside the lumbrical that attaches in the center of the underside of the proximal phalange. I don't indicate quite the right location when I show it in the film... AFF
